HIV

Women's Health

This was my first first-authored publication, and the one that gave me a real working understanding of qualitative methods, not as a technique, but as a way to surface the realities of care access for the people most likely to be missed. Listening closely to women navigating HIV care in Southern California taught me that structural barriers are not abstractions. They live in waiting rooms, missed appointments, and conversations that never happen.
